About Scott Weigner

Scott Weigner My Name is Scott Weigner, I knew I wanted to be an artist or a professional Baseball Player at the age of 10. Experimenting with mediums ranging from watercolors, Markers, clay to construction paper, I found a new way to express myself. Whether it was painting on my wall in my room, or re-creating video game box art, my interest in art began to unfold. As I entered high school, my curiosity towards art consumed me. Every chance I had, I would go to the 'art room'. From this classroom, I felt an uncontrollable flow of creativity. All through high school, everyone would question my desire for art. To me the answer was simple.

High school came and went, and I decided to attend a small art school in the City of Philadelphia. At Hussian School of Art, I expanded my knowledge of fine arts but was also introduced to the new realm of graphic design and the Apple Macintosh Computer. From this point on, my path was clear.

The workflow ranges from logo design to brochures, posters, and ads to Illustration. I have just recently, I took my love for working on the Apple Mac, and my love for Baseball by combining the two and started doing Sports Art, inspired by the style of artist Dave Wilkinson and Tomasz Usyk.

The original plan was just to create all the 2008 World Series Champion Phillies players. Once word got out and people saw what I was doing, they started making me offers to buy the pieces and told me I should sell these. So now, I not only do just baseball art but all other sport and commissioned private pieces as well.

I hope you enjoy it and thank you for your time.
